Before the third season of MTV’s Gauglet 3, MTV aired a trailer for the upcoming season in which two of the female castmates (Brooke and Evelyn) shared a great kiss. It was such a good kiss that many people were talking about it and watched the show just to see that kiss.
On the very first episode Brooke and Evelyn did kiss each other, but the back of Brookes head was covering the kiss. As the weeks went by there was some nice flirting going on between the two girls, but still no kiss. Eventually Brooke was voted into the Gauntlet and was eliminated from the game. Which means the only way we would see the kiss MTV teased us with would be if Brooke some how came back to the show. I contacted Brooke and she tells me that she will not be returning to the show, which means the kiss that we saw in the previews never happens on air. So once again MTV fails to deliver . The question now is “why didn’t MTV air the kiss?”
Honestly the network has no reason not to show this kiss. The show is rated TV-14 the same rating that the Howard Stern Show had when it was on cable and we know how Howard is. Is it that the viewers are now younger then they used to be so they have to be cautious on how far the kisses can go? Again that is not a good excuse. If that was the case then MTV would be saying that kissing girls is wrong. However at the same time they show everyone drinking on the show. Alcohol is the number one leading drug in deaths, but that’s ok to show on TV, but girls kissing each other is ‘too much” for network TV? I will say it one more time. Out of all the decisions a teenage girl makes, her kissing another girl will be the most normal decision she will ever make and showing the kisses should be the easiest decision MTV should make, because it isn't life threatening or illigal.

It's not new for MTV to edit kisses out of their shows, but to show it on trailer and not on show? A trick to get more ratings?
